XIRITE, Inner Mongolia, May 30 (Xinhua) -- A fire resurged at the Xirite Forest Farm in the middle range of Dahinggan Mountains in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and was yet to be controlled by Tuesday morning, local fire fighters said.

The blaze re-entered the area from the nearby Sangenhe Forest Farm between Mianduhe and Urqihan towns on Monday afternoon, wherea fire was reported last week.

The previous fire, which entered Xirite in the evening of last Friday, was reportedly brought under control by early Monday morning.

Fire fighters, however, said on Monday that difficult access, dry and windy weather, and poor telecom connections would make it hard to prevent the fire from resurging in Xirite.

Withered branches and leaves also contributed to the fire, fire fighters added. Enditem
